A Mother's Love.

We are so fortunate to be celebrating this year's Mother's Day with both our Mothers and our Mother-In-Law's. To us, the In-Law part just drops away naturally, as we love them both equally. Part of the reason Michael and I had our parents stand up for us on our wedding day was because we knew we could count on them to be in our lives for as long as we are blessed to have them.

To us, growing up only children with single moms, who eventually both remarried, we were our own special team. It was us against the world. To me, my mom encompasses everything. She can fix anything. She listens non-judgementally. I have grown out of teenage rebellion and began to see her viewpoint as a parent. What an important role a mother plays in her child's upbringing and ultimately success in life.

Today we are having a lovely lunch, some backyard tea and a shabby chic inspired photo shoot.
I love you mom and Rosemary and we will see you soon!!

Here is a sneak peek of what's to come today. Song courtesy of Fleetwood Mac, in which our moms walked us down the aisle on our wedding day.

Love,

Wendy
