For the eyes. For the heart. For the ears. For the feet. For the soul.

Shit happens.

Shit happens man. Things fall apart. People change. People don't change. But I've always said that it doesn't matter what happens in between as long as you can see a purpose in the end result.

It's no secret that I've had my share of drama in life. I'm certainly honest that some of it is my fault. Some of it most certainly was not. Tit for tat. Finger pointing. Who cares? Really in the grand scheme of things, life is short, relationships matter and feuds are petty.

Go climb a mountain and realize how inferior and insignificant we are in the world.

Go to a third world country and realize how first world our problems truly seem.

Hug an old friend and realize that years of silence could be alleviated in a moment.

Fuck it. Fuck your pride.  If someone says they're sorry, hear them out. If you have something to say, do so.

What are you waiting for?

We've only got one life to life. And I quite frankly, intend to live it to it's fullest.

Ego, pride and other people's opinions aside.

Why wait until a tragic life event to tell that person what they mean to you? Or alternatively, what they meant to you? Maybe things will never be the same. Maybe one day they'll be better or maybe you'll forget each other altogether.

But at a certain point in time, you meant something to each other. You made memories. You carved out a period in life that belonged to only you. So forget trying to pretend it never happened and acknowledge that:

"True friendship is like sound health; the value of it is seldom known until it be lost."

Love,

Wendy
