Not another love letter.

You said you wanted a poem
Well I can do you one better
Write you a story
Or even a love letter
Stamp it with my heart
And return it to sender

Love you more than before
And every day grows stronger
It's the kind of love song
That plays out a bit longer
Prove it each day
Like a type of love monger

From that first day on out
I was head over heels
Back it up with my words
And the moments I steal
Just like back in the day
When my heart was spinning wheels

I know that you doubt it
Need proof to allow it
But I'm goin nowhere
I'm a here, why and how it
Forever and a day
I'm here to show it
And never blow it

I can write you a poem
Or do you one better
Remind you each day
That I'm your go-getter
Proving my love
Forever and ever

I will always love you.
Never to be alone again.
No if, but or when.
