Here comes the bride/We are family

Last night, I had the pleasure of witnessing and attending my aunt and uncle's wedding. They have been together almost two decades however did not make it official until last night.

Their son Tyler, invited us all to join him in announcing the marriage of his parents.

Every girl deserves to be a bride and although it rained and poured and we got soaking wet, we had an absolute blast. It wouldn't have been a Drysdale wedding unless something went wrong and the bride did not let it phase her one bit. She continued with her speech during the thunderstorms and teeming down rain, continued singing when the power went out for a moment and grooved to the Elvis Impersonator in her white dress while her family and friends surrounded her with love and best wishes.

The weather was warm, the food was terrific and everyone was in great spirits. The speeches were heartfelt and hilarious and tailored to exactly who Margaret and Laurie are as people.

Congratulations to Margaret, Laurie and Tyler Meade for a wonderful memory we won't soon forget.
